Sports Coach (1-3 days per week, for 3 months)

Salary: £20-25 per hour

We are looking for an experienced, punctual and enthusiastic sports coach who is able to lead delivery of a range of sport sessions to groups of different ages, who is flexible to cover sessions with short notice. Your passion for sport and your desire to see young people succeed is needed to: • Plan and deliver 1.5-hour multi-sports sessions, with mixed ability/age groups – up to 12 participants • Provide a high standard of coaching • Lead on skills development in accordance with the objectives of the Healthy Start component of our NoLimitz programme • Act as a role model and mentor • Supervise our volunteer sports instructor You will: • Have a level 2 multi-sports qualification • Be experienced in delivering sport sessions to young people • Have a strong interest in working with young people and local community building • Know the “at risk” factors that impact on children and families • Understand the emotional and behavioural challenges that effect young people in urban communities • Have supervisory experience • Be self-motivated and able to work independently • Demonstrate strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills in English  • Be highly organised and have a natural desire to keep things up-to-date. We are looking for a reliable, punctual and enthusiastic sports instructor who is able to support the leadership and assist with the delivery of a range of sport sessions to different ages.Your ambition, your passion for sports and your desire to see young people succeed is needed to: • Support the planning and delivery of 1.5-hour multi-sports sessions, with mixed ability/age groups – up to 12 participants • Assist with skills development in accordance with the objectives of the Healthy Start component of our NoLimitz programme You will: • Ideally have a level 1 multi-sports qualification • Have some experience of delivering sport sessions, preferably to young people • Have an interest in working with young people and local community building • Understand “at risk” factors that impact on children and families • Have an understanding of emotional and behavioural challenges that effect young people in urban communities • Demonstrate strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills in English This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
